Paul preaches to the presbyters of Ephesus in the First Reading. He tells them to be vigilant when he leaves because false teachers will surely pervert the Gospel message. Even today, we have false prophets among us and we must be vigilant that the Gospel is heard. Sometimes we might be the false teacher and so we too must be careful not to lead others astray. How have you shepherded another’s faith? Today’s Readings: Acts 20:2838; Psalm 68:2930, 3335a, 35bc36ab; John 17:11b–19.
